Our Foundation and Purpose

This mission statement, “Treat the customer and my co-worker as I would like to be treated,” came about over 35 years ago when Wells Brothers began. Curt Wells, co-owner, told his wife, “If we ever have employees, I want to treat them the way I would like to be treated.” What started out with Curt, and his wife, Sandy, now consists of 140+ employees.

  • Our Mission: I will treat my co-worker and the customer as I would like to be treated.
  • Our Vision: To be recognized by our local communities, customers, team, and families as an industrial contracting company that illustrates the highest levels of integrity and respect.
  • Our Company Goal: Become the best version of yourself.

Our Walk in T.R.U.T.H Journey

The Beginning

Wells Brothers was founded.

The Mission Statement

The mission statement was established: “Treat the customer and my co-worker as I would like to be treated.”

Spiritual Foundation

25th anniversary and two significant culture-building initiatives were introduced:

  • Prayer at weekly leadership meetings and monthly employee meetings
  • Introduction of Matthew Kelly’s “What it means to Become the Best Version of Yourself”
Best Version Objectives

Objectives were established for both employees and the company to become the “Best Version of Yourself.”

Culture Solution Implementation

Introduced “The Culture Solution” book by Matthew Kelly to leadership team, division managers, and supervisors. Established our first set of core values: respect, integrity, initiative.

Walk-In-TRUTH Birth

Established a relationship with Saint John Leadership Institute, founded by Fr. Nathan Cromly. Major milestones:

  • Fr. Nathan began conducting soft skills training for leadership
  • Walk-In-TRUTH was born
TRUTH Training Expansion
  • Walk In TRUTH training classes began, conducted for division managers and supervisors
  • Walk In TRUTH videos were created and presented at all monthly employee meetings
Present – Ongoing Commitment

Walk In TRUTH training expanded to all field leaders and office staff and continues today.
